Dear reader,

      I'm excited to inform you that it's that time of year in wise, where we get to take on the project in full fledge! I have been anxious to finally embark on my journey through my second semester, which I hope will be as life changing as prior students say it has been. Over the course of these next weeks, I will be working on an instrumental EP which I am, creating, mixing, mastering, producing and writing myself. This particular choice to create this EP is treading on thin ice when experience surfaces, but is something I have been interested in spending time on. The one thing that I love about this process isn't only listening to the final product, but the creation and how it all comes together is what truly makes this program exciting for me. The challenges I expect to come across are inspirational aspects, searching for samples, learning how to properly utilize software and hardware, and the fact that I'm a perfectionist and can never feel fully satisfied with anything. As I progress through the stages of this album and its creation, I hope to overcome the challenges I face, build on my skill level and produce a final product that I am happy to present to you as a listener.
